Rabbi Chaim Malinowitz

(current; USA-Israel; Dayan, Bet Din of Kollel Harabbonim, Monsey, New York, and a Senior Editor of the Schottenstein Talmud published by Artscroll) has repeatedly expressed his approval of Rabbi Nosson Slifkin's books (see http://www.zootorah.com/controversy/RavMalinowitz.jpg). While this does not necessarily signify that he believes that "not all scientific assertions in the Talmud are necessarily correct even if uncontested in the Talmud," it does clearly indicate that he considers holding such a view to be permissible in our day and age.
